Hi, I'm Juli — the person behind every stitch, every seam, and every bikini that leaves Lulai.

It all started the way the best things do: with a problem nobody had properly solved. I had been surfing for years and could never find a bikini that truly stayed in place. The branded ones looked nice but shifted in the water. The more technical ones were ugly. And none of them were exactly what I wanted.

So I learned to make them myself.

What started as a personal solution became Lulai — a small brand of swimwear completely handmade in Sayulita, Nayarit. I design, cut, and sew each piece myself. From the fabric selection to the last elastic stitch.

Why Lulai is different

We are not a factory. We don't have massive inventory. Every bikini you order is made specifically for you — in the color you want, with your preferred coverage, in your exact size. If you want two colors, I'll make it reversible. If you have special measurements, let's talk.

The lycra I use is selected to withstand saltwater, chlorine, and sun. The elastic is reinforced to hold up to real waves. And the cut is designed so you can surf, swim, and move without thinking about your bikini for a second.

That's what "bikinis that don't move" means.
